Yes. We have all required licensing and permits to operate in the city of Grant as well as the state of Minnesota. We meet all safety and health code requirements.
We require 10-25% down of your venue fee reserves your date. We are always willing to work with you on a payment plan.
The first weekend in May till end of October. We are open all day only on Fridays and Saturdays for Events. We can do luncheons and business meetings during the week.
We have a maximum capacity of 253 guests.
Tours are by appointment. Contact Us to schedule your tour day and tie.
The red barn is approximately 4700 square feet. The main level still has the original wood floors and barn doors. Our second level loft has exposed wood trusses and hand-milled pine walls.
Yes, we have running water and awesome bathrooms. We have plenty of outlets throughout the barn.
Yes! We have a large lighted parking lot with ample parking for your guests. Handicap guests have available parking next to the barn for easy access. You will be provided with a parking lot attendant whom will help direct traffic into the farm and parking lot. This will ensure all vehicles are parked efficiently and allow for all guests have to have a spot.
Yes! We work with a number of nearby hotels offering discounted rates. Hotel shuttles are also available making your wedding safe and trouble-free for all guests.
Ride in comfort! We have a very nice golf cart that can be used all day to chauffeur any of your guests who are elderly or disabled. Driver's hat and white gloves are optional!
Yes, someone is onsite during your event. Our staff or a security guard will be present to assist with venue related questions about the grounds or policies.
Yes! and the curtains in the big barn doors are there too.
The rented buildings and surrounding grounds are available from 9am-11pm for our Friday and Saturday events. Setup time can start as early as 9am and takedown must be complete by 11:30pm. Guests may arrive as early as 1pm and fully vacate by 11pm.
Permitting requires that all vehicles must be removed from the property by the end of the event.
Our policy is that everything must be removed from the barn, brides room, ceremony area and anywhere else on the farm by the end of the night so we may clean, however sometimes that can be difficult. We can store your items in our lower barn till Sunday for you to come back and retrieve anytime between the hours of 10:00 - 2:00 pm. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Yes! We have beautiful new indoor restrooms for both men and women. These are located next to the bar, just below the loft.
Yes. We have both heat and air conditioning.
Yes! The old milk room has been transformed into a bridal room that is split into two sections. One section is a private area where the bride can change and get ready. The other is a place where the bride and her friends can hang out and relax before the ceremony.
Additionally, we two rooms for both wedding parties. The bridal room is stunning with all of the white furniture and floor-to-ceiling picture frame mirror.
The groomsman won't be disappointed as their room has a massage chair and leather sectional for maximum relaxation.
There are two gorgeous areas to pick from on the farm for your ceremony. You can be married on the Hill or inside the barn.
DJ's can provide a portable sound system on the hill so that your guests can enjoy hearing your exchange of vows and any music you may have. Electricity is available for their equipment.
Our brides' favorite amenities at Dellwood Barn is our rental company. We have hundreds of items to choose from. Make the the setting your own with no decoration cleanup required! If you are interested in seeing what we offer we will provide you with a rental catalog.
We love when couples decorate the barn, however w do have some limitations. Open flames candles, confetti, rice, fireworks, hay/straw bales or glitter are not permitted.
All bakery goods including cakes, deserts, cookies, and others must be from a licensed bakery/facility. No homemade items will be allowed in accordance with the State of Minnesota Health Department.
Our farm is smoke-free for the safety of our buildings. We do have a designated smoking area down at our Fire Pit. This is the only permitted area for people to smoke.
In addition to our historic farm, you could go to White Bear Lake or Down Town Stillwater to the river area. You can also call the Stillwater Trolley company to pick you up and return you for a awesome ride to. We feel there is plenty of places on our farm.
